ADHD & Autism Games

हिंदी वर्णमाला 🔤

Hindi letters, a few at a time, each with a picture word: क से कबूतर. Spoken in हिंदी, for ages 4 to 7.

How the game works

The Hindi alphabet has about 49 letters. That is far too many to meet at once, so the game teaches them in ten small sets: two sets of vowels (स्वर), then the consonants (व्यंजन) in their family rows, such as क ख ग घ and च छ ज झ.

  1. Meet the letters. The helper points at each letter and says it with its picture word: "यह क है। क से कबूतर।" There is nothing to answer.
  2. Find the letter. "क ढूँढो।" Two letters to choose from at first, with the picture still showing as a clue.
  3. Letter to picture. "क से क्या?" Your child picks the picture that starts with that letter.
  4. Picture to letter. "कबूतर किस अक्षर से?" The hardest step: hearing the first sound of a word.

The first tile, पूरी वर्णमाला, is the whole chart. Tap any letter to hear it. A new set opens after one good round of the set before, and the game brings older letters back in so they are not forgotten.

Built for children with ADHD, autism and late speech

  • A few letters at a time. Three to six letters in a set, never the whole chart.
  • No reading and no speaking needed. Every line is spoken in Hindi and every answer is a tap. The game never listens to your child.
  • One question, two choices to begin with. More choices come only after a round done alone.
  • No timers, no scores, no lives. A wrong tap gets "फिर से देखते हैं" and the answer is shown.
  • Calm mode removes movement. There is never background music.
  • Private. No account, no ads, no tracking. Progress stays on the device.

Tips for parents and teachers

🗣 Say it the same way. Use the game's pattern at home: "क से कबूतर". The repeated pattern is what children hold on to.
📦 Find the letter in real life. On a milk packet, a shop sign or a newspaper. One letter a day is plenty.
⏸ Stay on a set. Replay the same set for a few days before starting the next. The 👪 button (press and hold) shows which sets your child can do alone.

Common questions

What age is this Hindi varnmala game for?

Ages 4 to 7, and older children who are starting Hindi. It suits children with ADHD, autism or late speech because nothing has to be read or said aloud: every letter is spoken and every answer is a tap.

How do I teach my child the Hindi alphabet?

A few letters at a time, always with the same picture word. The game teaches three to six letters in a set, saying "क से कबूतर" for each, and only opens the next set after your child manages one good round. Vowels (swar) come first, then consonants (vyanjan) in their rows.

Which letters does it teach?

All the swar from अ to अं and the vyanjan from क to ह, plus क्ष, त्र and ज्ञ. Letters that do not start an everyday word, such as ङ, ञ, ण and ष, can be heard in the full chart but are not asked as questions.

Does my child need to read or speak Hindi already?

No. The game speaks every letter and word in Hindi and shows a picture for each one. Your child only listens and taps. It never asks them to say anything.

What if my phone has no Hindi voice?

The game uses your device's built-in Hindi voice. Most Android phones and iPhones have one. If yours does not, the game tells you, and the letters, pictures and words still appear so you can say them yourself.

Is it free?

Yes. No ads, no account and no email. Progress is saved only in this browser on this device.
